Application packaging for investment management company seeking to improve SCCM and Intune application management.

This independently owned investment management company, with just under 2,000 users, wanted to improve their Software Asset management capabilities and enable a Windows migration and hardware refresh. Further challenges existed around the retention of financial data on legacy systems to meet regulatory compliance, despite the implications for unsupported platforms.

To help with their journey to improve SCCM and Intune application management, the Customer went to tender for a block of offsite application packaging, won by APPtechnology against full market competition.  As the customer encountered a number of complex accounting applications with strict licensing restrictions and regional configurations, APPtechnology assisted with Application Discovery assistance, as well as onsite and offsite application packaging.

Over three years of delivery, APPtechnology’s services have transitioned into BAU application support, offering a flexible and low-cost alternative to maintaining internal Application Lifecycle Management resources.
